All these people with full time jobs bitchin about the economic stimulus package piss me off. You are telling me that in your half-ass’d mind on the matter in a semi-contemplative state, as you deal with your full time job, life and responsibilities you’ve got the best plan in place? Hey, be my guest if you grew up discussing economics at the dinner table with your parents who were econ professors at UPenn, went on to become one of the youngest tenured professors at Harvard, served as Chief Economist for the World Bank & ran parts of Reagan’s and Clinton’s economic recovery plans, have 2 nobel laureates in your family like Larry Summers (Director of the White House’s National Economic Council) and more on your resume. This plan may fail or work but it’ll definitely take a genius to have the best shot of success and if you can top that – what are you still doing at your day job? Your country needs you.
